What a lovely warm day and fantastic turn-out at the H Street Festival in Northeast Washington DC. My whole family helped out with the performance and pledges. Many people joined in and made pledges on the saris, which will be taken back to Bangladesh to be worn by coastal women. Many thanks to Eames Armstrong and my daughter Tuli for assisting with the performance. My mother Noorjahan joined in also!
