Today’s Climate Change Conference at the National Cathedral was a truly inspiring event. Speakers talked about the critical crisis posed by climate change and ways in which to activate change. There were over 80 people there for the conference, which was from 9:30 to 2:30 pm. I learned so much from the speakers, about new initiatives on solar energy, the enormous amount of energy Tibetan Buddhist are putting into climate action, and the ways in which we can each take responsibility and convince others to take steps to reduce carbon impacts. I am going to definitely put solar panels my house and convince my friends, too!
