We made it to Dhaka, Bangladesh last night after more that 24 hours of travel door-to-door from Washington DC. Wonderful to finally be here! Cool, sunny weather here — I am wearing a shawl as it is colder than usual. Spent a productive day buying journals, pens, pencils, brushes, saris, and fabric printing paint for the “Her Words” project in Katakhali village (Barobashdia Island, Patuakhali). Decided to add hot pink to the palette! Enjoyed fresh green coconut water (dab) while shopping in bustling Gausia Market. Heading to the Dhaka Art Center soon to catch up with friends.
