We did a workshop on woodblock printing on fabric in a school (on a holiday) in Mirpur, Dhaka. These amazing women taught me how to do woodblock printing. We tested our colors and made several saris. Here’s a short video:

Because of the monsoons, I was not able to make it to Katakhali this time but will return in January 2013 during the dry season to finish the project. Four of the women in the photo are from Katakhali.
